First Cache...

Well, I needed to start somewhere, and this was my start.

I picked up a cheap GPS unit, used. I then hit the Geocaching.com website, and found a cache near my home coordinates. It was literally just up the street, so I jumped at this chance. I got home, grabbed the GPS unit with the Cache location already programmed and headed off. I got to the location (passed it at first...gotta wait for the satellites to catch up to me). I looked around, but couldn't find the cache. I checked all around Ground Zero. Here are the details of the cache...

I have emailed the cache creator and read through the logs of others that have found it. I found some plastic debris, which I fear may have been the cache. I have some pictures of the area.


Kestrel is coming over later, and I'm hoping she'll go out to the site with me, and maybe we'll even dig up a few others while we're out.
